Nicki Renzi

I’m Nicki Renzi and haved lived locally most of my life; the last thirty years in Woodsetts.

Having recently retired from the NHS - a forty year career in nursing managing large and diverse teams as a Matron - I am fortunate to now be able to spend my time holidaying, socialising with family and friends, and pursuing new hobbies.

I have always felt incredibly fortunate to live in our beautiful village and decided to join the Parish Council in 2023 to give something back to our community.
I’m dedicated to enhancing the lives of all residents who live in Woodsetts and your well being is my priority. I hope together we can ensure Woodsetts continues to be a place for young children to grow and flourish and for our older residents to feel safe when out and about, whilst taking care of our environment.

The Parish Councillors and I would be delighted for you to join us at our next meeting to ensure we do just that.

Barry Bartles

Hi I'm Barry, born in Sheffield in 1954 and graduated as a chemist via the Open University while working for a multi-national papermaking company as a technical manager. Later moved to North Wales in 1988, then later took a job with a large global chemical company from 1991 to 2018, undertaking a role as market manager for a division managing Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, as part of a multi-million Euro company

I retired early in 2018 due to the demanding nature of global travel, and live with my wife on Grange Avenue, having called Woodsetts our home for 12 years, and have assisted Cllr Sherratt with organising street parties and various other celebrations.

Whilst living in North Wales for 27 years, I was a member of Coedpoeth Parish Council, and it this experience I will bring to Woodsetts, as part of understanding the workings of local councils and identifying the challenges that can arise from working in a local environment under many constraints.
